Annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” Program

bastas21-265x15517Our program is an opportunity for local organizations and businesses to touch the lives of lonely or forgotten seniors in the Baton Rouge community.  The seniors we outreach generally do not have family support during the holidays and do not usually receive gifts.  Through this much-loved annual event the Metro Baton Rouge Home Instead Senior Care has distributed over a thousand gifts to needy seniors in our community!    SIGN-UP for the 2013 Christmas Season.

        How the program works:

  • The  list of senior participants will come from local healthcare facilities or non-profit organizations.

  • Each senior will have a separate “ornament” tag for his/her gift and a suggested gift list which will be given to his/her sponsor.

  • Your group will  choose the number of seniors you wish to sponsor.

  • Your business may place promotional items or brochures in the donated gift(s) to let the seniors know about your services. Your company name/logo will be featured in our Social Media. (Facebook Page, Website, our BLOG and Twitter)

  • Take your commitment seriously.  Remember that your gift may be the only one a needy senior receives this year!

  • Please “wrap” your gifts in a GIFT BAG.

  • Please bring your gifts to the Baton Rouge Home Instead office at 11764 Haymarket Ave., Baton Rouge, NO LATER THAN December 2, 2013.    OPTIONAL – You can come with us to DELIVER the gifts! Contact us if you wish to help us deliver and we will let you know delivery times for the seniors  you have adopted.
