Flu Shots are now available in Baton Rouge!
Seniors are more susceptible to flu than other members of the population because of weakened immune systems. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 90 percent of flu-related deaths and more than 50 percent of flu-related hospital stays involve seniors age 65 and over. Now is the time for seniors and their family caregivers to schedule a visit with their physicians in order to discuss flu vaccines.
